Glute Running

Today was sprint day. Started using the glutes for running today- makes me run faster but cadence reduced drastically to the 150s but my pace improved remarkably. Also I became out of breath. The good news is that the running seemed more natural and effortless in spite of the panting. It’s almost like I’m required to unlearn everything and start learning to run all over. I would really like to run barefoot but don’t want to risk injury/cut etc. It will take some learning but I think this will be helpful in the long run. 

Tomorrow is fartlek day. Will need to reduce the speed when running slow along with using glutes somehow. Will keep you posted!
